We just ordered a Stingray 215LR. They also set you up with your own customized website that allows access to owners and service manuals, a service history, a parts list for your boat, and an owners only forum that is frequented by Stingray reps who will answer questions and address concerns.
?Stingray makes a good boat. Bottom line, both boats are very nice and you won't go wrong with either one but you might want to add dealer service into the equation. Bowriders, cruisers, cuddy boats available with Mercruiser and Volvo inboard and Mercury outboard engines. Last thing to think about is whatever boat you buy, who is going to fix it if it breaks.
I owned a 21 foot Bayliner a few years before the Stingray and things kept breaking.

Size for size, the Stingray appears to be about the same weight if not slightly heavier than a Chaparral. The 19-foot 186CC Deck Boat is a center console fishing boat and family deck boat rolled into one.
