My father also let her know that the boats seat are ripped and she started to yell at him on Father's day to show her where the boat seat is ripped and it was from one side to another and the employees told me that's how they are and there are no other boats and no refunds.

Thanks Debra Gates didn't not lock properly. It was very close to the French Gulch Campground where my son, a cub scout, was camping with his pack.A couple of weekends ago, my friend rented kayaks and a jet ski at the French Gulch Marina. Much to their surprise, we showed up that day and said we'll take the boat with just part of our crew since we paid for part of it already.
It was near 100F degrees that day, minimal shade around this area and my friends and I were desperately trying to find some shade covering around the store.

The Marina is open summers, and offers boat rentals, waverunner rentals, a full service gas dock, snacks, beverages, fishing & camping supplies, live bait & boating supplies, moorings , and slips available for monthly and seasonal rent. The steering wheel on the pontoons don't work and the motor spit stops, none of the gauges on the pontoon work so you have no idea what's going on and all the speakers are shattered. 6/22/2017 my son DAVID & I reserved the 8 passager pontoon boat aka "Bob's boat" for Friday 12:30pm.
The staff were extremely professional, kind, and helpful. My family went yesterday and we got a pontoon boat that broke down so many times we were t able to fish for the time we had the boat. Luis Reservoir. Won't be back. She said the boat was missing the gauges on the instrument panel except RPM gauge. Looking for something more adventurous?

Deborah came out & stated is there a problem, we stated we were waiting boating instructions, boat maintenance procedures (I.e. Bad business I don't know how Kern could allow this business to continue to operate when the safety measures of the boats are far too compromised and the owner acts like a thief. Lake Isabella has several public boat launch ramps located around the lake. When my husband went in and told them the situation that happened with the boat the lady said no refunds we don't give refunds. The boat was rented out to someone else but owner would still not refund my deposit!

Boats!!! Warning! Lake Isabella is known as one of the best crappie lakes in California. I'd recommend going anywhere else or just saving the money and staying home.Don't believe the 5 star reviews they have to be friends of the employees or owner, there is no way any of her boats deserve 5 stars. Yikes.
