The place was really clean and quiet and the host was very nice. The hotel offers a complimentary buffet breakfast and free WiFi access throughout the hotel. Generally I stay at higher priced hotels, but most were... visit family in the area.
My room was decent. The shower was huge and there were ample towels. Many nearby dining... downtown and this location worked well for us. The owner was friendly and helpful... was the owner. The staff was friendly and the view of the Lake is wonderful!!!
The staff was very helpful and patient as I made calls to find out why and having the issue corrected. Cedar Point amusement park is 25 minutes' drive away. Best Western Port Clinton is located in Port Clinton, within 3.8 miles of African Safari Wildlife Park and 2.6 miles of Portage River. Easy parking... if you are looking for a place with easy on-off from the highway. Overall, good price.zTiny parking lot.

Cedar Point Amusement Park is 9.9 mi away from the hotel. But the bedroom is on the smaller side. Was bad. The photos on the web site are misleading. It's on old school Mom and Pop motel, but spacious room (had a little alcove), tiny bath, but comfortable beds and pillows... have a finished room. The property is around an 18-minute walk from Kalahari Waterpark and 2.6 miles from Ghostly Manor Thrill Center.
