Best scenic route. During my recent visit to Durango, CO, I had the opportunity to ride the Durango Silverton train, boarding at Silverton. Riding the Durango Train round-trip from Durango to Silverton and back is a great way to really immerse yourself in the experience. Like I said, definitely cool and weird. It's pretty self guided so you could see whatever you felt like seeing and reading about. I would suggest this at least once to anyone who can visit this cute and historical old towns.Ive been on the train previously but knew my husband would love it so we added it to our trip itinerary. At least the staff on board went above and beyond to make the day special. This will ensure the best views.
