The cabin was comfortable and very clean. The boat dock with kayak rentals were great. We will be returning all summer.I absolutely love this place!
They even had a movie night for the kids on Saturday and Sunday! The owners are Awesome and can tell they really care about the place. The monthly rate is very, VERY good. Got checked in and got to the site and found out we brought everything but cooking utensils. We will definitely go back.Beautiful place amazing staff. The teenagers loved jumping off the swimming dock. You have to drive to the water access but it’s posted NO PARKING.

They're pet-friendly and also have items available in the store in case you need something and don't want to drive to town. The people running it are really nice & helpful. The closest "convenience" store is a Dollar General 10.5 miles away.

If anyone were to ask, I'd definitely recommend a stay.Tip: They have full hook-ups, back-in, pull-through, tent sites and cabins onsite. Kayaks can be rented for half days or full days for a great rate (comes with oars and life vests as well). They have a little store for you camping needs prices are great. Hideaway was like the Rodeway Inn and Corps parks are more Hampton. This wonderful vacation spot offers activities for everyone. We asked about canoe rental once, and he told us to just take his personal canoe.... they don’t get much nicer than this couple!!! There were concrete steps going in to the water, making it easy to launch the kayaks. Relaxing, clean, beautiful campground, perfect for anyone. The swimming pool was beyond refreshing, then movie night came after and capped the night well. We were given great suggestions on attractions in the area and were treated like we are family. Now my Dad and I take are family here with my husband and kids. Their extremely courteous and kind. The view of the lake is amazing I would recommend staying here to anybody.We have stayed at the Beaver Lake Hide-A-Way a few times, for months at a time when we were doing the full-time nomad/RV life. They even hauled the kayak to the lake for us too. We love this Campsite. The owners are wonderful. All water front camping is Corps. No fire pits on sites. The staff are great and responsive if you need anything. Will definitely camp there again after we explore some more. The camp grounds were clean. CABINS, Tents, and RV Sites. THE PROPERTY. I was there a few months ago and I had a good time, explored the whole place without any ticks or chiggers on me. We have stayed twice and have already made reservations for a winter stay. I have no idea what they were talking about.The cabins were great. The back of these sites have trees, but there are no trees in the tent sites. The family that owns the campground are wonderful and helpful. Beaver Lake Hideaway Campground It's a great place to go camping. There is also a pool that opens during late spring/summer season. If you want recipe for a good brisket stop in the office and mention it and they will give you the full run down Texas style.I want to say this is the most friendly campground we have been to. We had a great time. If your a kid like me, you get to have fun swimming AND playing at great sized park. I've never felt so welcome at a Campground. You can tell the pride in ownership by the care and maintenance of the campground. We loved this place and will certainly be back again!Arrived late, no hassle, they even helped get our Motor home situated. They don’t have sewer hookups but the atmosphere is worth the inconvenience.

Loved the camp store so many choices for my forgetful items. I travel for my job and spent a entire year at this campground away from my family. The owners made us feel like we were regulars. Everything you need located on site.
We also walked around the area and the fellow campers were friendly and accommodating. It is a very pet friendly campground and they seem to welcome all breeds big and small. These sites are covered in grass and well maintained. They are very friendly and will help in a way they can.
